Decided to try a new place in the Bixby area. There were two of us and we went around 12:30 for lunch on a Thursday.
Hostess/Waitress was fantastic! Fast and friendly and did what you expect. Chips and salsa are very good; I really liked their salsa. They bring a nice portion of chips; we didn't even have to ask for more, which was nice.
We order guac as an appetizer and it came quickly and delivered what you would expect. Good texture and the flavor was good.
We split an order of chicken fajitas. It was more than enough food for two at lunch. They have flour or corn tortillas; we chose the corn. Chicken was good; it had a few pieces that were overcooked from being on the hot skillet. They do the chicken in chunks; I prefer when the chicken is sliced, but it was still good. The fixing were what you would expect with sour cream, pico, refried beans, guac, and rice. The beans were good. The rice seemed a bit gummy and lacked flavor; it may have been overcooked a bit.
All in all, it was a good meal and we will go again. If you're up for a decent Mexican meal at a reasonable price, then this place will do the trick. Might have to try them for dinner one night and have an adult beverage :) -

We came here on a Friday night about 7pm. Only about a 15 minute wait. Tons of door dash traffic holding up diners.
Sadly, the chips are stale. Hot salsa is very hot but unflavorful.
Staff very friendly and super helpful. Rest of the food was great. Recommend El Donkey if it's your thing. -

I wavered between 3-4 stars, and here's why. It's very clean, and I love that in a restaurant. I had the shredded beef street tacos. They were extremely fresh and extremely bland! My husband had 2 enchiladas, a chicken and a shredded beef topped with queso, and he loved them. Both came with tasty rice and boring beans (only option refried on beans, and super bland).
Here are some other negatives. The chips were SO stale, they hurt my teeth (yes, I tried several hoping my first was a random oldie and the rest were fresh). I could see the waitresses pulling the chips out of a huge uncovered container and making lots of baskets for future people. IMO, your first impression is the chips and salsa at a Mexican Restaurant, so that was a killjoy start. Salsa? BLAND! I asked if they had a spicier one, (and I can handle super spicy) but theirs is ridiculously hot. I ended up mixing the bland and the spicy, not bad.
Our waitress was fine except for never refilling water, until we were finished. We waited almost as long to pay as the entire meal took. Finally I went to find her (restaurant 3/4 empty) and she was bagging a Togo order.
I sincerely hope to raise these stars to 4 or even 5 when I give them one more shot. -

This is a great little casual Cali-Mex restaurant. My husband and I eat here often, especially if we're going on a meat-free day. Their fish dishes are fantastic, and that's saying a bunch for Oklahoma. Ingredients are super fresh, the wait staff is prompt and courteous, and prices are very reasonable. I would give it a 5 star rating, except that the one time we ordered meat, it was dry and over-seasoned. Might just have been a fluke. I'll try again, and if it's better, I'll update this review.

This is my first time coming to Dos Bandidos and so far the appetizers are very good! When we first came inside there was no one to help us get to our table, so we just sat down. We even got ourselves our own silverware and menus and the menus had a weird stench, it smelt horrible. We had to go wash our hands. There was a worker there (guy) that was sweating a whole lot and it smelt horrible, although we understand that he was doing a lot, (everyone sweats!). When he handed us our appetizers, he wiped his wear off his forehead and then put his hand back on our plate. I did not want to eat it. This is a Mexican restaurant, but the music they were playing was pop music from 2013. Shouldn't you guys play Mexican music? Anyways, the food was very tasty!!
